Volunteer Orientation and Training

Orientation to Neighbors InDeed is required before a volunteer can work in any of the Programs or behind the scenes.  Orientation sessions are held on a regular basis and are scheduled by  the Volunteer Coordinator. 

Once a prospective volunteer has gone through Orientation, he/she advises the Volunteer Coordinator which service or behind-the-scenes program(s) is of interest.  After that, the prospective volunteer will be contacted by the Program Coordinator to set up program-specific training (e.g., Information & Referral, Handy Helpers, Dispatchers, etc.)
